Dear blog (and very few readers),
I just paid off my student loans. Not too shabby since it's been 3.166667 years since I finished my graduate program. And my payment schedule was for 15 (!) years. A bit ironic when you think that the money came from the government (thank you, tax return) and went right back to them (hello federal loan).
That is all. Thank you.
Sincerely,
me

So jealous. One of these days Blake's grad school loan will be paid off. It's amazing how much out of state graduate tuition costs! And for only one year! (He got an assistantship the second year, thankfully.) :) But congratulations! Really, that's an incredible feat.
Woohoo Congratulations!
Awesome sauce! Good work.
CONGRATULATIONS!That is such a huge sigh of relief when you can finally say goodbye to those yucky payments.Kudos to you for being so responsible and paying it off so quickly!
congrats melissa! that's amazing that you paid it off so fast! what a burden lifted.
Thanks all for your congrats! We are fully preparing to have plenty more money owed when Vince starts grad school, but for now, we can breathe easier. :)
smile! That's wonderful!!

Thanks, Lori. It almost makes my place feel new again to post photos of it!
One more burden lifted! Good job getting it done fast.
It feels so good!
