Sometimes, numbers can say it all:

1+1 = 8
8+8 = 27
2+42 = 43

You may be wondering about my math skillz, since these may not be quite adding up in your mind. Well, here is the reasoning:

1+1 = 8

my dad + my mom = 8 children

8+8 = 27

8 children + 8 spouses = 27 grandchildren*
*and some aren't even done (or started for that matter :)*

2+42 = 43

2 fantastic parents + 42 years of marriage = 43 very lucky children, children-in-law, and grandchildren!!!
