Garden Delights

When the garden starts to produce, it is relentless! We have been frantically weeding, picking, and trying to do something with the "fruits" of our labor. The pictures are really just to make me remember that the work is worth it :)

Not too many of these, thanks to some extra helpful little hands :)

More than enough of these to send home some very satisfied nieces and nephews (what, the kids like veggies?!?!)

Let's just say these beautiful berries are very abundant, but the back-breaking labor doesn't sour our enjoyment :)

Next year, dear, let's plant fewer zucchini. Anybody need a couple pounds worth?

This delightful fruit is just beginning to ripen - way more than we expected, especially with the late frosts. If any of you around here want some apricots...

Look, Mom, sweet corn! (hehe, I'll never stop teasing :)

And my gloriously triumphant first pepper - warning: objects may appear larger than they are :)

Stay tuned for more adventures from my garden (or if they bore you, go read something else for a while, cause this is pretty much all I do right now :)
