I love lilacs. They smell wonderful and the blossoms are just gorgeous.
However, after spending two Saturdays hacking at the lilac bush in my parents' yard...
I have come to this conclusion:
The best kind of lilac bush is a small one.
Or the one in your neighbor's yard.

Lilacs are my FAVORITE flower! They're beautiful and they smell DIVINE. (But yeah, the can grow wildly out of control...have fun hacking!)
MMMM! I love lilacs too - but have never owned my own. Nice to know they have a dark side! I'll consider myself forewarned!
