Really, what makes Christmas morning so wonderful is the look of delight on a child's face. Good thing we had some substitutes around to remind us.

And, though it was an early Christmas for us, we experienced our own child(ish) delight.
(Tell you what, nothing makes me squeal quite like new books!)
*(Ok, he does have a daughter, but the look on his face was perfect!)

Happy New Year! I LOVE your blog- I have been rolling with laughter (still the same great sense of humor I remember) I ESPECIALLY loved the big toe post-It sounded like an awful week, but I have to say I got a pretty good chuckle and could only exclaim- this is so Melissa!
